Behind the Scenes 4

I think you could say I have been lost behind the scenes. The book, Ms. Pig E. Banks (available for pre-sale), had a minor glitch I under quoted the time I needed to finish by two times as much. The 12 main illustrations ended up becoming 24 pieces and I was more than freaking out. Twice the work in half the time. On the brighter side, I got to meet the author. I had been working on putting the final touches on some of my graphic design projects last week. My last project was a set of collector plates. I sat down with my watercolors and a bunch of fashion magazines and inspiration in order to spawn the pieces above. I called it Daily Dress-Up. I really love the final pieces and hope to watercolor as much as possible. What do you think?

30W30 Sketch and Wash

So I decided to explore and, dare I say, cheat a little, on the 30 Watercolors in 30 Days. I used a General Pencil Sketch and Wash Pencil. I know that those are usually used for shading but I have always loved the juxtaposed lines against soft wash. It makes pieces look as if they have been plucked out of my old fashion magazines.
