A Fashionable Night Benefit for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

 Last Friday, I was fortunate enough to participate in a charity event for the local Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Lancaster County.I donated 3 fashion illustrations for the event, and got to mingle with the local designer I have been designing for. Michelle Rene’ has been nominated for Woman of the Year and the event helped honor her as well. It was a great night! Enjoy the pics below. Wounded Warrior Fashion Show

So after getting a taste for the front row in a fashion show, I was lucky enough to be part of it on the back end. From fitting the models to selecting the order of the walk, it was 4 hours of preparation, to 5 minutes of sheer stress to the 15 second walk of ecstasy for Michelle Rene. The best part about it is that, this was a charity event. This event brought about 8k last year for our wounded vets here in Pennsylvania. This year they raised over $25k. I had been working on putting the final touches on some of my graphic design projects last week. My last project was a set of collector plates. I sat down with my watercolors and a bunch of fashion magazines and inspiration in order to spawn the pieces above. I called it Daily Dress-Up.
