30 Watercolors in 30 Days, inspiration, watercolor
30W30 Watery Paper
For this exercise, watery paper could have been done in two ways. One, getting the paper wet so it pulls the grain or texture of the paper. Two, using a paper that has lots of grain and painting with a watery brush. I did the latter. This is my first time drawing a NYC skyline. What do you think? I miss New York. That city digs its claws on to you like an overzealous pigeon holding on to a bread crumb in Bryant Park. I have yet to take a picture in NYC where it was not visually interesting. The city is tough like the concrete it`s built on and personal space does not mean a thing. Try claiming 3 feet of personal space at Penn Station!
