I had been working on putting the final touches on some of my graphic design projects last week. My last project was a set of collector plates. I sat down with my watercolors and a bunch of fashion magazines and inspiration in order to spawn the pieces above. I called it Daily Dress-Up. I really love the final pieces and hope to watercolor as much as possible. What do you think?

Hold Them Close

This year has been tough. Emotionally in ways I cannot explain to you. This past Friday we all had to face the ugly reality, that someone had taken 26 lives in an act that defies all logic. Parents lost their daughters and sons. Teachers. Spouses. Friends. My heart goes out to the Newton Community. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I can`t comprehend it. Kitty Needs a Nap

Baby Bump

The last time I drew one of these it was in 2007. I just don’t do many mommy and baby sort of things. I am glad I gave this a try. I love the look of cold press French watercolor paper and ink. The cream color warms the purple and it looks great.
